Cathleen Trigg-Jones is an EMMY Award-winning journalist, actress, author, wife, mother, motivational speaker and entrepreneur. Most recognized for her work as a News Anchor and Reporter for MY 9 and FOX 5 News broadcasts in New York, Cathleen’s on-air career spans nearly two decades and covers everything from television to radio and film. Cathleen has been nominated for three EMMY Awards and has received numerous other awards, but it is her EMMY Award for Best Educational Reporting for which she is most proud.
Over the past few years since leaving news to pursue other passions, Cathleen has been busy appearing in several national commercials, movies and prime time TV shows, including ABC’s Twisted, Dangerous Liaisons, and the popular HBO comedy VEEP. She has also had guest starring roles in the Disney movie The Enchanted, and Before I self Destruct, and she just finished filming the independent feature No Colored Girls Please where she plays herself in the film which highlights a long standing history of racism in the modeling world. Cathleen is also a contributing writer for Heart and Soul magazine where her passion for getting to the heart of people’s stories can be seen in her interviews with various celebrity women.
