Cathleen Trigg-Jones is an EMMY Award winning journalist, actress, talk show host and Executive Producer and star of Centric TV’s hit reality series “We Are The Joneses,” which premiered in January of 2017.
In 2002, Cathleen founded CatScape Productions, a full-service, multi-media production company dedicated to creating and producing award-winning commercials, films, documentaries, music videos and original TV content. Passionate about story-telling and changing the landscape of how people of color are portrayed in the media, Cathleen’s focus is on producing content that is responsible, entertaining and socially charged. Some of her latest projects in development include a documentary, talk show and a host of commercial and branded content.
Cathleen is a member of The Screen Actor’s Guild, The American Federation of Television and Radio Artists, New York Women in Film, Delta Sigma Theta Sorority and The Metropolitan Chapter of Jack and Jill of America. She also serves on the board of AHEAD, a non-for-profit organization that provides educational, health and agricultural resources to underserved communities around the world.
A mother of four, Cathleen’s deepest passion has always been helping women and children. Together with her husband, celebrity Plastic Surgeon Dr. Michael Jones, Cathleen founded The Trigg House, a not-for-profit organization geared to providing services such as housing, education, mentorship and counseling to teens aging out of the foster care system to help them transition into the real world — a cause very personal to Cathleen having spent part of her early life in foster care before being adopted herself.
